Raising Autism Awareness

Star Dog was excited to attend the Raising Autism Awareness event co-hosted by

Bottega Salon and City Looks Barber Shop.

The Charity event featured special guest Melissa Gorga and family.

City Looks Barber Shop located in Little Falls, NJ provided men and boys with cuts and Bottega Salon of Cedar Grove, NJ provided the woman with blue hair extensions. 

Over $600 was raised to benefit  Autism Speaks.

Autism Speaks goal is to change the future for all who struggle with autism spectrum disorders. By dedicated to funding global biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a possible cure for autism. They strive to raise public awareness about autism and its effects on individuals, families, and society: and work to bring hope to all who deal with the hardships of this disorder. AutismSpeaks.org is committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals.

Treats  for the evening were provided by Belgiovine's Italian-Deli of Montclair, NJ 

Music by music by iReserve Entertainement kept the night alive.

Bottega Salon, City Looks Barber Shop and Melissa Gorga are long time supporters and advocate for Autism. This event was a fun way for them to raise autism awareness for their community.

Posh Fashion Show hosted by Richie and Kathy Wakile

Star Dog recently had the opportunity to attend in the Posh Fashion Show featuring the summer collection of Posh Boutique.  The beautiful red carpet extravaganza was hosted by RIchie and Kathy Wakile and was held at the Terrace in Paramus, NJ.

The event was also to support and bring awareness to the 
Children Brain Tumor Foundation

Recently, Richie and Kathy Wakile's daughter,  Victoria, was diagnosed with a second brain tumor that required surgery.  Their entire family continues to be an advocate on behalf of brain tumor patients across the United States. We are certainly happy to see Victoria recovering so nicely.
